Hi Guys!!!
I'm currently planning a my vacation.I'm headed for the big LV!!!Las Vegas.I was invited to join my friend there with his older brother. All three of us are big poker fans.I have only played online poker. But I think I have what it takes to show Las Vegas players a thing or 2
Have any of you ever been? What cool things are there to see?Have any of you ever played at the tables there?Any handy pointers?
Don't be shy guys,I'm open to all suggestions!!! |

Hi
Considering you've only ever played online,I would set aside a certain amount of money for each day that you are there, and DO NOT EXCEED that amount!!!!!
I play online too,but have played Vegas live, and believe me,there is no comparison.I suggest you take a look at this before you go.Its really helped me out in my games and tournaments. It's got great strategy tips.
Visit the Valley of Fire and Hoover Dam.And dont forget to go see the free shows. They're well cool!!!!
Good Luck and let us know how you got on!!!! |

It is different. You will learn about rock gardens. Many online players have tried and many have failed. Many local players make a good living teaching online players the difference.
You might find this intersting: http://pokerworks.com/article-686.html and helpful.
Really need to know where you are staying, could give you better information.
See the Blue Man Group, is expensive but well worth it.
If you are a SCIFI fan see the Star Trek experience, I don't remember what the name of the Hotel is anymore, It was the old Hilton. See it first.
After you've seen the Star Trek. See Escape from Atlantis at Ceasars. It is about 10 years newer and even more impressive. If you see it first, Star trek will disapoint.
Liberace Mueseum is a real suprise to most people. Really quite
impressive.
Have breakfast at the RIO buffet.

Well if you love poker, you have to go.
Every thing has a 1st time. In Vegas, I suggest Binion's downtown. They have 3 daily tournaments with a buy in of $60 with an $10 dd on & a rebuy after an hour of 100 chips for $40.
The dealers are great & there is a friendly atmosphere that is not in all poker rooms. It is also exhilarating to be in the place where the WSOP was played & the great ones battled there for 30+ years.
The rates are good & you get a really good rate if you ask he pit boss for the poker rate.
Get your feet wet then try the bigger games at the Bellagio, Wynn & Ceaser's.
Best of luck & go do it.
